Simon Collis CMG was the UK Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2020, Ambassador to Iraq from 2012 to 2014, Ambassador to Syria from 2007 to 2012 and Ambassador to Qatar from 2005 to 2007.

He is an Arabic speaker and has experience in the financial services, energy, construction, tech, education, health and cultural sectors.

He specialises in political risk, relationship management, trade and investment development, energy, crisis planning, leadership, conflict and post-conflict operations.
