The Rt Hon Sir Roderic Lyne KBE CMG served as the British Ambassador to Russia from 2000 to 2004.

He also served as Private Secretary to Prime Minister John Major where he advised on foreign affairs, defence and Northern Ireland. He is currently a member of the Privy Council.

He was a member of the UK’s Iraq Inquiry Committee and was the UK's Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organisation from 1997 to 2000.

He has experience working as an advisor for global corporates including JPMorgan Chase and BP.
