Nick Warner AO PSM

Nick Warner AO PSM most recently served as the Director-General of the Office of National Intelligence (ONI) - Australia’s peak intelligence agency. The ONI reports directly to the Prime Minister.

Nick served as the Director-General of the Australian Secret Intelligence Service from 2009 to 2017, the Secretary of the Department of Defence from 2006 to 2009 and Senior Adviser (International) to the Prime Minister from 2005- 2006.

During his career as a diplomat, Nick served in the roles of Australian Ambassador to Iran from 1994 to 1997, High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea from 1999 to 2003 and Special Coordinator of the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands.
