Nick Butler
Nick Butler is Visiting Professor and founding Chairman of the Policy Institute at King’s College London. After taking a degree in Economics at Cambridge, he joined BP and worked for the company in numerous economic roles culminating in 5 years as Group Vice President for Strategy and Policy. He subsequently served as Senior Policy Adviser to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in Downing Street. He served as a member of the international Advisory Council of Equinor and is an economic adviser to the Faraday Institution - the UK’s expert body on energy storage and battery technology.
