Lynelle Briggs AO was CEO of Medicare from 2009 to 2011 and served as the Australian Public Service Commissioner from 2004 to 2009.

Lynelle is currently a non-executive director of Maritime Super and Goodstart Early Learning. She is a member of the Aid Governance Board for the Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and chairs the Insurance Code Governance Committee.

From 2015 to 2018, Lynelle was the Chairperson of the NSW Planning Assessment Commission. She was also a director for the Australian Rail Track Corporation from 2014 to 2017 and director of the Australian College of General Practitioners from 2014 to 2016. She has also chaired ASIO’s audit committee.
