Ian Bond currently serves as Deputy Director at the Centre for European Reform.

Ian has spent 28 years in the British diplomatic service, including as British Ambassador to Latvia from 2005 to 2007 and as Political Counsellor at the British Embassy in Washington from 2007 to 2012. His earlier career included postings in Moscow, at NATO headquarters, and as deputy head of the UK delegation to the OSCE, where he focused on conflict prevention and resolution in the Balkans and former Soviet Union.
