David has deep energy and resource sector executive experience, gained across 30 years spanning Australia, Europe and Asia. He has served on a range of boards in both executive and non-executive roles.

Prior to joining Dragoman, David’s career has included supermajor oil & gas with Shell, project finance and M&A advisory, debt arrangement, commodity hedging and energy markets and trading with Macquarie Group, equity research at Bank of America, institutional equity investment with Schroders, eight years of boutique energy-sector consulting with Finncorn Consulting, and the establishment and leadership of Hiringa Energy in Australia, a hydrogen energy start-up.

David’s undergraduate engineering study was at the University of Adelaide, and he holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment, an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, and is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
