Sir Anthony Salz

Sir Anthony Salz is a distinguished corporate lawyer who has worked for several highly-respected firms throughout his career.

For 30 years, Sir Anthony worked with Freshfields, the last 10 as a senior partner. He began working for Rothschild in 2006 as Senior Vice Chairman, departing in 2017. He sat on the BBC’s Board of Governors from 2004 to 2007, and was Acting Chairman from 2006 to 2007.

He is currently the Chairman of Hambro Perks, an international early-stage investment firm focused on technology. He is also Chairman of Forward Institute, which runs responsible leadership programmes for major organisations, and a Trustee of the Tate Foundation and Conran Foundation.

Previous roles include member of the Board of the Department for Education, Chair of Teach First’s Business Development Council and Bloomsbury Publishing, and a Trustee of both the Royal Opera House and Scott Trust.
